Are you looking for mindful web design that is just as lively, multi-layered and committed as your organization?<\/strong> Then take a look at the new digital home of the International Academy Berlin for Innovative Pedagogy, Psychology and Economics gGmbH<\/a><\/strong> - briefly: INA Berlin<\/strong>. This website is not just a pretty website. It is a consciously designed space that breathes education, shows diversity and invites genuine interaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Web designer from Berlin<\/strong> I love working with NGOs that want to make a difference - not just online, but also in the world. For the project inaberlin.org<\/strong> my vision was clear: to create a web design that not only informs, but also inspires. That not only structures, but connects. That not only works, but lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Web design for NGOs with depth, structure and soul<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

INA Berlin is a complex organization. Several institutes under one roof, diverse research areas, numerous educational projects and a strong social commitment. It was precisely this complexity that was the starting point for a web design that creates clarity and at the same time celebrates the colorful diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim was to create a digital space that provides peace and quiet - and yet arouses curiosity. One that is structured without being rigid. And that touches the hearts of users - without being loud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colors that work - and connect<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Every NGO has its own energy. At INA it is Colorful, lively, future-oriented<\/strong>. This is reflected in the color scheme of the website: the Corporate green<\/strong> remains as a unifying element, while each department is visible through its own color nuance - an interplay of harmony and individuality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colors guide you through the site, make content tangible and provide orientation.<\/strong> And by the way, they show: Diversity is not only tolerated here, but celebrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interactive elements - because learning and discovering can be fun<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

What would an institute for innovative pedagogy be without interaction? Exactly - boring. That's why I deliberately created the web design in such a way that it invites you to discover<\/strong>. Small animations, subtle image changes when you move the mouse over them, surprising color accents when you want to find out more with a click.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am particularly proud of the graphic on the institutes' page. An ensemble of houses that lights up when clicked on, takes on color and reveals information<\/strong> - Playful, intuitive, almost like an interactive campus. A digital cityscape for an urban, vibrant educational landscape.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Typography with attitude<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Clear, readable. And yet with character.<\/strong> This describes the typography used. The continuous text is set in a calm, sans serif font - it leaves room to breathe. For the headlines, I use a serif font that conveys depth and seriousness. The result: a balanced interplay between modernity and academic gravitas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Flexible and lively - the CMS in the background<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Technology must not get in the way. It should support. That's why the website is based on a user-friendly content management system that allows the INA teams to easily maintain their own content - whether events, press articles or new projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The website is not a fixed monument, but a Breathing system<\/strong>. A lively platform that continues to develop with the INA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Science at your fingertips - searchable publications<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The INA stands for science with social relevance. This makes it all the more important that research does not remain behind closed doors. That is why there is an easy-to-use Publication database<\/strong>where visitors can search specifically for authors, titles or keywords. Transparency. Made simple.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job page with visibility - even for large platforms<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Another highlight: the specially developed Career page<\/strong>which is not only attractively designed, but has also been technically prepared in such a way that job boards such as Indeed or Google for Jobs can easily capture it. This means More visibility for vacancies - without additional effort<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mindful web design meets social impact<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

For me that means mindful web design<\/strong>to design with feeling - with an open eye for people, for content, for function and aesthetics. This is exactly what inaberlin.org<\/strong> was created: A website that carries instead of dazzles. That tells instead of persuades.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
