This is exactly the feeling that the website of the joinery FS40 from Hanover should convey - digitally and yet tangibly. I conceived and implemented the web design for Friedrich Schrader, master carpenter and owner of FS40 - with a focus on <em>mindful web design<\/em>a clear structure and a visual language that touches. The goal: a website that is as authentic as the craft itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reduction that works - design with white space and natural aesthetics<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The website radiates calm. I deliberately avoided loud colors and effects. Instead, a lot of <em>white space<\/em> - not as emptiness, but as an invitation to pause. Spaces create clarity, direct the eye to the essentials and allow the high-quality photos of the joinery to speak for themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The choice of colors is restrained and earthy - muted tones, lots of white, natural wood tones. They reflect the materials that the joinery works with and reinforce the feeling of craftsmanship, authenticity and down-to-earthness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Focus on people - target group-oriented web design<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The target group for this site? People with high standards. Customers who are looking for individual solutions - be it for interior fittings, custom-made furniture or exceptional woodturning work. People who put quality before quantity, who live sustainable values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That's why it was clear to me: this website has to speak - not shout. It must inspire - not overwhelm. And it must build trust. This is achieved through a clear layout, comprehensible menu navigation and content that directly shows what makes the company special: passion for wood and attention to detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Achievements that are allowed to show<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>A central component of the website is the presentation of the wide range of services:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Furniture construction &amp; furniture design<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Interior fittings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Woodturning<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Yacht interior fittings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Restoration &amp; repair<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Special projects such as 3D Wave Wood<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These services are not simply listed, but presented visually and with high-quality content - with images and text, tailored to SEO and user experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Movement that doesn't distract - but invigorates<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Silence is beautiful. But the digital can also breathe. To bring the page to life, I have used subtle <em>Scroll effects<\/em> built in: Objects move discreetly when scrolling, content appears gently. Short videos have also been integrated - they show work processes or the effect of finished rooms. That's why the website has been <em>SEO-oriented<\/em> built up. Each subpage was given its own search engine-relevant content. Keywords such as \"joinery Hanover\", \"furniture making Hanover\", \"custom-made furniture\" or \"woodturning\" were integrated in a meaningful way - without appearing artificial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An additional blog served as an SEO booster: projects were presented here, special materials explained or insights into working methods provided. As a result, the website grew continuously - both in terms of expertise and content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Social media integration - authentic &amp; up-to-date<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking beyond the digital horizon was also important. The integration of <strong>Instagram and Facebook content<\/strong> provided topicality and insights into the everyday life of the joinery. In this way, new interested parties were reached - and regular customers remained connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">News section and updates: digital like a workshop window<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>A dedicated news section turned the website into a digital workshop window: whether company vacations, new projects or trade fair participation - everything kept moving here. The site was not just a business card, but a living space.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion: Web design for the trade - with heart, clarity and strategy<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The project for the FS40 joinery was more than just a commission for me. It was a coming together of design, craftsmanship and humanity. That is exactly what <em>mindful web design<\/em>A page that doesn't shout, but speaks. That inspires, but does not overwhelm. That gives users space and at the same time invites them to act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though the website is no longer online, the design lives on - as an example of the combination of aesthetics, functionality and authentic branding.
